We are proud and delighted to announce that Sister Mirosława Góra has been awarded one of Poland’s highest state honors – the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.

Based on Article 138 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and the Act on Orders and Decorations, President Andrzej Duda honored individuals who have rendered outstanding service in humanitarian and social work.

The award ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, and the decorations were presented on behalf of the President by Minister Andrzej Dera of the Chancellery of the President.

Sister Mirosława received this prestigious distinction for her exceptional contribution to humanitarian aid, particularly for her long-standing service to the people of Zambia and her efforts in developing support systems for communities affected by natural disasters and armed conflicts.

This award is not only a recognition of Sister Mirosława’s extraordinary dedication and work, but also a tribute to the entire missionary community, whose tireless compassion brings hope to those most in need.

Sister Mirosława – we extend our heartfelt congratulations! You are an inspiration to us all, showing that courage, goodness, and love for others truly have the power to change the world.
