In recent days, fire safety training was conducted with the participation of hospital staff. The purpose of the training was to remind participants of safety procedures, proper responses in emergency situations, and to raise awareness about protecting the lives and health of patients and staff.

A hospital clean-up day was also held under the slogan “Keep Katondwe Clean.”

The initiative aimed not only to tidy the hospital surroundings, but above all to educate and raise awareness about the importance of caring for the cleanliness of shared spaces.

What matters most is the inner sense of responsibility and the personal commitment to maintaining order and caring for the environment in which we live and work. Nurses actively took part in these activities, encouraging local residents and patients to care for the cleanliness of the area around the hospital. Their involvement was an important example of how essential cooperation within the whole community is in building a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

We would like to thank all staff members, residents, and participants for their commitment and for working together to build a responsible and aware community in Katondwe.
