Friends of Katondwe in Stara Wieś

On August 24th, friends and sponsors of the Katondwe mission gathered in Stara Wieś, at the General House of the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate.

After breakfast, Sister Małgorzata introduced the guests to the history of the congregation and shared many interesting facts about the missions. Before lunch, a solemn Holy Mass was celebrated in the basilica with the Jesuit Fathers, followed by a talk from Sister Krystyna, who reflected on the current needs in Katondwe. In the afternoon, the guests had the chance to visit the monastery, listening to fascinating stories told by Sister Teresa.

Despite her many responsibilities, Mother General, Sister Dorota, joined the gathering for a short while, giving everyone renewed strength and motivation to continue helping. By evening, all participants returned to their homes – with hearts full of gratitude and hope for the further development of the mission.
