News
At the Katondwe Mission Hospital, every day brings new challenges. Our reality is full of very tough moments, when we feel powerless, intertwined with the times that give us great satisfaction from the help we have provided. It is a great joy and a commitment for the future. We want to provide our patients with constant care of the highest possible standard and to constantly improve the conditions in the Hospital. Usually, the reality of life in Africa, in Zambia, is very different from the standards and convenience we know. Nevertheless, we make sure to end each day with a sense of a job well done and gratitude for all the good that has occurred. Of course, it would not be possible without the support of our Donors, for which we are very grateful.

We are very grateful for the opportunity to cooperate with the Pro Spe Foundation.
We would like to thank You for supporting us in raising money for the building of an X-ray block and the purchase of a new X-ray.
Your initiative will certainly bring a lot of good and will bring us closer to our goal.
We are truly grateful to you!
Can you remember the big package of equipment that was finally delivered to the Katondwe Mission Hospital in February, after many obstacles related to the pandemic restrictions? Among the many other gifts, the parcel also contained two lamps for operating rooms.
The very installation of the lamps was not easy. The ceiling structure in the operating room was not designed to support such a heavy device, so a quick renovation was necessary to strengthen the ceiling.

The pandemic has thwarted plans with an earlier pallet shipment, but we have succeeded 😊, the equipment is already at the hospital. Thanks to the Polish Medical Mission Association for organizing the shipment.
Our gentlemen have their hands full to properly prepare the equipment for operation.
Sometimes it is difficult to express thankfulness for the kindness, which comes from you.
Czytaj dalej8 October has been another milestone for the whole the Katondwe Mission Hospital community.
From today, our Mother and Child Clinic is supplied with running water from a new deep-drilled well. We are so happy about this: the entire hospital staff, our guests and the friends of our institution.
The well of St. Padre Pio was donated by Mr Ryszard Łuczyk from Przeworsk and many inhabitants of the Podkarpacie region, who have raised an adequate amount of money during the campaign "Recycled paper for the Mission".
November and December 2020
We are happy to report some good news from the Katondwe Mission Hospital.
Katondwe now has a connection to electricity. It means that we have electricity from the power grid. We also have a new solar installation. Now we can use solar power for 12 hours a day. We will be able to save money for other important expenses. Above all, we will be able to make the best of our medical equipment.
We are developing, with four new houses for the staff and a small cafeteria serving local food.
