Doctors and nurses with great hearts

Lately, we have been lucky to host guests from Poland who come to Katondwe Mission Hospital to perform a number of important surgeries, all of them as voluntary service. We have just bid our farewells to Ula and Sara and we have already welcomed a whole gynaecological and surgical team with an anaesthesiologist and a scrub nurse. Members: Katarzyna Cybula (a surgeon from the Czerniakowski Hospital in Warsaw), Anna Madej (gynaecologist from Uniwersyteckie Centrum Zdrowia Kobiety i Noworodka in Warsaw), Anna Borkowska (anaesthesiologist from the Czerniakowski Hospital),
Hanna Kolasińska (an operating-room nurse from the Etermed Clinic in Gdańsk) and Paweł Sobieszczuk (a surgeon from the District Hospital in Mińsk Mazowiecki) will stay with us until 6th May.
Women in Africa suffer from gynaecological diseases just as much as women all around the world. Very often these diseases are serious and life-threatening. Patients from the most distant places are coming to us, hoping to find relief from pain. Our mission is to give them the best possible help.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank all medical workers with hearts overflowing with goodness who come to our hospital to support us in saving people's health.
