For Christmas, we wish you a spiritual reunion with the newborn Son of God. May He give you His blessings, joy, and hope and protects you with His divine care in the New Year.

Time runs fast and spares no one. It gives us only a few moments for rest and some deep thought. Moreover, each day is still full of difficulties due to the pandemic. It makes us even more grateful for your being with us. Thank God for you all! We pray for you with all our hearts and offer the Holy Mass up for you every Friday in our hospital chapel.

They fill our hearts with joy, as in this way we can witness the divine creation. They please our eyes with their unique beauty.

8 October has been another milestone for the whole the Katondwe Mission Hospital community.

From today, our Mother and Child Clinic is supplied with running water from a new deep-drilled well. We are so happy about this: the entire hospital staff, our guests and the friends of our institution.

The well of St. Padre Pio was donated by Mr Ryszard Łuczyk from Przeworsk and many inhabitants of the Podkarpacie region, who have raised an adequate amount of money during the campaign "Recycled paper for the Mission".

We are deeply grateful for your every donation. It brings us closer to purchasing an X-ray machine for the Katondwe Mission Hospital.

In the hope of raising an adequate sum of money, we are eager to develop an even more challenging plan – to build a diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging laboratory. We aim to draw up a project in compliance with the recommendations and requirements for healthcare facilities in order to maintain the safety of our patients and staff. We also must install air conditioning in the X-ray and CT rooms due to the equipment requirements.

We believe that good people will support our initiative.

During their stay at the Katondwe Mission Hospital, Dr Szymon and Dr Wojtek performed a series of medical procedures, including: a Latarjet procedure of the shoulder, fixation of a femur fracture on an external stabiliser, plate fixation of a humerus fracture, removal of a connection from the femur, reconstruction of hand function – lengthening of tendons, the release of contractures, foraminotomy of the L5/S1 spine, correction of hallux valgus and hammer toes in the foot, revision of a wound and removal of necrosis from the femur, correction and plate fixation of the bones of the lower arm.

We had some very special guests in July. We enjoyed the visit of: Alicja Podgórna – a physiotherapist, and two orthopaedists: Szymon and Wojtek.

They brought with them a lot of positive energy, as well as some orthopaedic equipment, much needed at the Katondwe Mission Hospital.
