We are just adding our 200th post on Instagram. For two years we have been informing our followers about people, events and changes in Katondwe. Thanks to social media you can be close to us and our patients every day. Your presence and support are priceless for us.

We are happy that we can bring you closer to the everyday life of our hospital via social media. Thanks to this mean of communication, we are able to keep you updated on the most important events taking place in Katondwe, such as getting a water and electricity  connection in our hospital, acquiring the essential equipment, like the new water tank, and implementing key investments, which include the construction of a new radiology block. By following our Instagram and Facebook you can learn about new equipment and solutions that allow us to develop our facility and help new patients. During these two years the Katondwe hospital gained very much-needed medical and surgical devices and instruments, an operating lamp, a new mobile lamp, a cardiomonitor, diathermy and the hematology analyzer from CHAZ. What’s more, our hospital has implemented electronic patient registration and a new solar installation.

Thanks to the social media, you can accompany us in our daily work - you can find out about the activities of our doctors and the stories of our patients, as well as learn about the surgeries and procedures which are being performed in our hospital. We not only introduce you to our medical staff, but also keep you updated on numerous training courses, internships and visits by guests from all over the world.

Instagram and Facebook are also very helpful in spreading the news about our current needs, fundraising and charity events. It is thanks to your response to our requests and your great support that we are able to achieve our goals and fulfill our dreams of helping more and more peolpe in need from Zambia. We are glad that we can be here together and, despite many difficulties, we can receive your kind words and friendly gestures that show us that our work makes sense and give us energy to act.
